Italian Herb & Parmesan Burger with Sundried Tomato Mayo on D'Italiano Original Crustini Hamburger Buns - bring the taste of Italy to your next summer barbecue with these deliciously seasoned burgers using Italian herbs and parmesan cheese in the burger mix.

Ingredients

  • 4 D’Italiano® Original Crustini Hamburger Buns
  • lettuce and tomato
  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
  • pinch salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried  ground rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp dried ground thyme
  • 1 tsp dried basil leaves

For the Sundried Tomato Mayo

  • 1/2 cup plain low fat mayo
  • 1  tbsp finely chopped sundried tomatoes
  • pinch salt and pepper to season

Instructions

  1. Toss together the parmesan cheese, rosemary thyme and basil and then mix throughly through the ground beef.
  2. Form into 4 six ounce patties and grill over high heat for 7-8 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Serve with lettuce and tomato on lightly toasted D'Italiano Original Crustini Hamburger Buns along with the Sundried Tomato Mayo.
  4. For the Sundried Tomato Mayo, simple stir a the ingredients together well.

Notes

Tip, for even more great herb flavour sprinkle extra herbs on the out side of the burgers before grilling.
