These sauteed cinnamon apples are both tart and sweet and make an amazingly simple but delicious accompaniment to grilled or roasted pork.

Ingredients
4– 6 large firmcrisp, apples cut into large cubes; only about 10 cubes per apple.
2tbspbutter
2tbspapple cider vinegaror lemon juice
2 - 3tbspbrown sugar
¼ to ½tspcinnamon
pinchsalt
pinchblack pepperoptional
Instructions
Melt butter in a large skillet.
Sauté apple cubes for about a minute in the butter over medium high heat.
Add the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar and cinnamon and continue to saute for about another 3 minutes until the liquid reduces to glaze the apples. The Apples should be warmed through but still firm not soft or mushy.
