Ingredients
For the bottom layer
2cupsgraham cracker crumbsdigestive biscuit crumbs are also delicious
1/2cupmelted butterI use salted butter here
4tbspwhite sugar
For the top layer
1 1/4cupssweetened condensed milk(one 300 ml can Canada) (14 oz US)
2cupschocolate chips (milk chocolate,semi-sweet or dark, your preference)
1 1/4 cupsdried unsweetened coconut
1 1/4cupsroughly chopped pecans
1 1/2tspvanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x9 inch baking pan and line with parchment paper.
Mix together the graham crumbs butter and sugar. Press evenly into the bottom of the pan.
Mix together all of the ingredients for the top layer well.
Pour evenly over the prepared base and bake for 30-40 minutes or until light golden brown on top. Cool completely before cutting into squares or bars. These freeze particularly well.
