Orange Rosemary Pork Chops

A simple, delicious marinade makes these orange rosemary pork chops so tender. Ginger & garlic add more great flavour + brown sugar for balancing sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 4 center loin pork chops

For the marinade

  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp finely grated orange zest
  • juice of one orange
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the pork chops in a large Ziploc bag.
  2. Whisk together all of the marinade ingredients and pour over the pork chops.
  3. Marinate for a couple of hours in the fridge. (up to 8 hours)
  4. Grill over medium high heat until fully cooked, about 7 minutes per side for 1 inch thick chops. Use a meat thermometer to make sure the internal temperature of the chops hits at least 160 degrees F.
  5. Let the chops rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
