Spicy Chicken Frankfurters with Bell Pepper Slaw and Sriracha Ketchup

The Red Hot Dog! Kick up the heat at your next cookout with these different and delicious hot dogs with a cooling bell pepper slaw and extra flavour boost from a simple spicy ketchup.

Ingredients

  • 4 Wonderâ„¢ Ball Park Classic Hot Dog Buns
  • 4 Maple Leaf Lodge Spicy Ultimate Chicken Frankfurters
  • For the Bell Pepper Slaw
  • 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced bell peppers

For the simple vinaigrette

  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • pinch salt and pepper

For the Sriracha Ketchup

  • 1/3 cup plain ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the ingredients for the vinaigrette and toss with the bell peppers.
  2. Mix together the ingredients for the Sriracha Ketchup.
  3. Grill the Maple Leaf Lodge Spicy Ultimate Chicken Frankfurters until well heated and with good grill marks.
  4. Give the bell pepper slaw a final toss in the vinaigrette before serving on the Ballpark Classic Hot Dog buns along with the grilled frankfurters, topped with the Sriracha Ketchup.
