Ingredients
2cupscooked or cannedno salt added chickpeas
1small roasted red pepper
1/2 to 1cloveof minced garlicor to taste
1/3 to 1/2cuptahinisesame paste (or 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil)
1/4tspcuminor to taste
juice of one large lemon
salt to season to taste
1/4tsppepperoptional
1/2tspcrushed chili flakesoptional, if you want a spicy option
Instructions
Add the cooked chickpeas to a food processor and process until very creamy. Add the other ingredients and blend in well. Traditionally served with drizzled olive oil and chopped parsley.
