- 1 cup whipping cream
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
Mix together the sugar and cocoa to break up any lumps in the cocoa.
Add the cream, brown sugar, corn syrup, salt and half the chocolate chips.
Bring to a slow boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in the butter, vanilla and remaining chocolate chips until smooth.
Can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge for 2-3 weeks. Reheat the sauce in the microwave before using.
