This may be an even better version than the original Moose Farts.  Wonder where that recipe started?

There are hundreds of websites that now feature the recipe online. We were the first!

The recipe idea came from Rosie’s Restaurant & Bakery in Gander, in central Newfoundland. I first tasted them in April of 2016, when we were in town with the kids for a school competition.

Moose Farts

They were purchased as car snacks for the drive home after a fantastic diner meal there. They did not last long!

A year and a half later a regular follower wrote to ask if I had a recipe. I didn’t but I did have a photo of the package I purchased there with the ingredient list.

With a little ingredient research, I came up with my own recipe, which I am prone to to anyway, as you all know. And that is how one of our most popular Holiday recipes ever came to be!

Other cookie fart ideas came easily.

That recipe spawned a couple other versions, like a kids party version Unicorn Farts and our recent Reindeer Farts

A can of Eagle Brand Dulce de Leche was the inspiration for this new version. What an easy way to create a fantastic caramel version!

And that’s just what I did. I threw in some Skor Toffee Bits for more flavour and a little added crunch.

Oh my! Spouse and I were eating the final mixture s we were rolling the balls! It’s one you have to try, especially at the Holiday!

Any more cookie fart ideas in the works? Hoping to get another one in for the Holidays!
