Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich with Lemon Mint Tzatziki – one of our family’s favourite meals, adapted to the backyard grill and served as fantastic dinner sandwiches.
Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich with Lemon Mint Tzatziki. These flavour-packed Greek inspired sandwiches are sure to be the hit of your next BBQ get- together. Easy to prepare in advance so that when guests arrive, it’s just grill and serve!
Our family loves all things souvlaki. It is easily one of our favourite dinners year round, whether we make it with lamb, chicken or pork. A quick marinade brings plenty of flavour.
Nothing beats a quick summer meal though, especially one on busy days with lots of activities planned. That’s when this favourite meal gets translated into delicious, substantial dinner sandwiches. The chicken grills up quickly, then we slice it and serve it on toasted D’taliano Herb & Garlic Hamburger Buns. Some crisp fresh lettuce plus a tangy & tasty cucumber yogurt tzatziki, complete and compliment the sandwiches perfectly.
