In our ongoing collaboration with D’taliano, here’s one more way to bring great flavour to your summer grilling season. This time a taste of Italy breaks up the boring burger doldrums with the flavour of fragrant hers and the bold tomato taste of concentrated sundries tomatoes.
This is an outstanding taste combination that needs no other condiments. All the flavour you could ever want is right in the burger and the Sundried TomatoMayo, all carried deviously on a soft D’Italiano® Original Crustini Hamburger Buns.

- 4 D’Italiano® Original Crustini Hamburger Buns
- lettuce and tomato
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- pinch salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried ground rosemary
- 1/2 tsp dried ground thyme
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves
- For the Sundried Tomato Mayo
- 1/2 cup plain mayo
- 1 tbsp finely chopped sundries tomatoes
- pinch salt and pepper to season
Toss together the parmesan cheese, rosemary thyme and basil and then mix throughly through the ground beef.
Form into 4 six ounce patties and grill over high heat for 7-8 minutes per side until fully cooked.
Serve with lettuce and tomato on lightly toasted D'Italiano Original Crustini Hamburger Buns along with the Sundried Tomato Mayo.
For the Sundried Tomato Mayo, simple stir a the ingredients together well.
Tip, for even more great herb flavour sprinkle extra herbs on the out side of the burgers before grilling.
