Chocolate Whoopie Pies. An old-fashioned recipe from Maine, where the locals claim whoopie pies as a state tradition.

Chocolate Whoopie Pies
I got this whoopee pies recipe several years ago on trip to Maine where whoopie pies have been popular for decades. Here at my house, they are a kid favorite.
Take a platter of these to your kid’s next school party and watch the reaction. I doubt you’ll have leftovers.
