Oreo Caramel Brownie Bombs - Here's what one fan had to say, "A coworker brought these in to the office yesterday. May I just say, they are the most delicious brownies I've ever had in my life.
And I'm an almost 50-yr-old passionate foodie with a lifelong chocolate addiction! They're chewy, crunchy, gooey and soooo very chocolatey. Thank you for sharing this fantastic recipe!!"

Today's recipe got a lot of attention and was the object of some good-natured fun from members of our Rock Recipes Facebook Page, when I posted a couple of preview photos there yesterday. I asked for folks to suggest a name for this incredibly indulgent recipe.
Some of the suggestions, especially those from friends in private messages were of a nature that...well, let's just say I wouldn't want to enter any of them into a search engine!

These begin with a bottom layer of soft chocolate chip cookie, which is topped by broken Oreos and gobs of caramel. Then comes a layer of soft chocolatey brownie. It's no wonder that this one ticks a lot of boxes for dessert and sweet lovers.
A drizzle of chocolate ganache to crown these beautiful squares may be over the top but when you've gone this far, why not?

um holy! Those look dangerously good!!
Whoa, sinfully delicious! I bet one tiny piece is needed to satisfy a sweet craving. Great recipe!
Look at that gooey caramel that's amazingly indulging. I can't help but to get the details of this and prepare as an offering for our LQ 🙂
OH MY I just LOVE this. I think i gained 2 pounds just reading this!
Worth it!
I agree with the commenter above. I feel like i need to go to the gym!
A perfect indulgence that I'm sure it completely worth it! I'll be trying this one out soon!
Do the brownies still taste like oreo cookies ?
Huh?
hm... i hope you understand, what I mean 😀 There is so much chocolate and caramel and then I think it only tastes of chocolate and caramel?
I want to bake a oreo pie for my friends birthday and it really has to taste of oreo cookies... ;)So I'm not quite sure, if I should do this recipe..?
(sorry, it's hard for me to explain, what I mean.. I'm from Germany ;))
There are still large chunks of Oreo cookie in the squares so you still get the full flavor of the Oreos. This is not an 'oreo pie" though...Do you think your friend might be expecting a specific pie?
ok 🙂 No, he doesn't exspect a specific pie.. He just wants a oreo pie or something like that. Brownies are also ok! Maybe I'll try this recipe, when it's not to difficult to bake, because it looks like it is the most delicious recipe I found yet 🙂
I want to know if this recipe can somehow be made low cal(as much as possible) so that diabetics can have some too. If so, please post the recipe so I can make it lower in calories and as sugar free aspossible. ......Sandy
Sandy, surely you must recognize the impossibility of that task. You could not have chosen a more un-adaptable recipe. Sorry, 'cause they are soooo good.
These look absolutely delicious!! Can these be frozen after baking? If so, should I add the ganache before I freeze them or after I thaw them out? Thanks for the recipe 🙂
I made these today and they are amazing.
