4-8 slices (depending on size) Crusty French, Belgian or Italian Bread
3 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp Louisiana hot sauce (optional)
Salt and pepper to season
1 pound grilled steak, thinly sliced
6 oz cheddar cheese
½ cup salsa
Begin by toasting and buttering your crusty bread. Hold in a warm oven.
Beat together until well blended: eggs, sour cream, hot sauce, salt and pepper.Sauté garlic in olive oil until it just begins to brown. Add the egg mixture to a soft scramble and place on top of the toast. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and place under the broiler for about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cover with sliced steak and salsa and serve.
