Easy Chocolate Coconut Balls. A no-bake cookie treat that’s like a coconut candy bar. A popular Holiday treat too!

Originally published Dec 2012.
These easy chocolate coconut balls are a coconut and chocolate lovers dream. Sweetened condensed milk makes for a moist coconut centre you'll love.
Here's one for Nancy, my friend who, by her own confession, needs "a coconut intervention." What's better to add to a coconut lovers confection than chocolate?!
And these cookies are oh so easy to make. Just use a few simple ingredients to make these wonderfully soft centred coconut wonders.
Freezing the soft coconut centres makes it super easy to dip them in the chocolate too.

The only problem after that is waiting the hour or so for the centre to that and the chocolate to set! These are always on my Holiday treat list particularly because they freeze so well.

I think I will be trying these ones tonight.
Thank you!
Hey! I love coconut and I'm making these for christmas. I just wanted to know how many coconut balls does this recipe make?
About 2 dozen, Gabrielle.
I made these over the holidays. Rather than rolling them into balls, I pressed them into a parchment lined pan and then cut them into fingers for dipping. They sure are yummy!
What is icing sugar?????
Powdered sugar (confectioners sugar)
I use tooth picks to dip them it's a lot easier.
Beautiful recipes
Thanks very much.
Making these right now. Easy and delicious!!
One of my son's favs too!
Great easy to make sending them in x mad tons to family members out of state they will love them thanks so much happy holidays to all
Glad you liked them...so easy and uncomplicated. I love them too.
Making them right now...trying with white chocolate, instead of the milk chocolate. ..so yummy!
I make these and I add a cherry in the centre of the coconut ball and then add my chocolate to them sooo good . They freeze well also
Sounds delicious.
I did this only wish I had used a smaller pot so the chocolate mixture would have been deeper
I made these exactly as written and they were so good that I made a second batch. This time I replaced the vanilla with mint flavouring and they were also fantastic. These will assume a prominent place in my Christmas baking from now on. Thanks Barry.
That sounds good!
Just made these. Were fantastic. Family loved them. So easy to make. .
Hi, i juz wanna ask dat..can we use coco powder for the dip instead of chocolate chips???? n foil paper instead of parchment lined paper?????
The foil is probably fine but the centres hare too soft to just roll in cocoa.
