Bakeapple Peach Ginger Chutney. Cloudberries (a.k.a. bakeapples) and peaches are an incredible taste combination with a boost of flavour from the added ginger.

Bakeapple Peach Ginger Chutney
Bakeapple Peach Ginger Chutney is my take on a peach chutney with the addition of wild Newfoundland bakeapples (cloudberries). If you don’t have access to bakeapples, it is still a good peach chutney, just add another peach or two.
The recipe is quite forgiving, so you can easily add a little more or less of any ingredient if you like. I like it spicy, so I generally add more chili flakes.

Delicious on roasted or grilled chicken or pork or even with roasted vegetables.

This Bakeapple Peach Ginger Chutney is also what we use for our our Phyllo Chicken Curry. When serving those pastries as finger food at parties, I like to add a small bowl full of chutney to the center of the serving platter for dipping.
