Best British Desserts. Our favourites from over 14 years on Rock Recipes. From Sticky Toffee Pudding to Eton Mess, Banoffee Pie, Jammie Dodgers and so much more.
Long term followers of this blog will know that I have a very great affection for British Baking. This comes from watching too many PBS cooking show in my childhood, I guess.
It also must come from the connection Newfoundland has with the UK in terms of its historical ties. From Raisin Buns to Figgy Duff, we have plenty of common ground to discover.
A recent DNA test also discovers that my family on both sides hails from Dorset, Cornwall and Lancashire. Perhaps it’s in the blood, who knows?
Regardless, here is a collection of over 20 of our favourites since the inception of Rock Recipes in 2007. I know you’ll find several new faves for yourself among these best British desserts.
