Strawberry Apple Graham Crumble.

I had my daughter in mind when I came up with this tempting Strawberry Apple Graham Crumble recipe. Olivia loves anything with a graham crumb base so I decided to turn that idea on its head.

I did that by incorporating the crumbs into a buttery crumble topping for some apples and strawberries. This Strawberry Apple Graham Crumble is delicious with some ice cream or whipped cream.

Frozen strawberries for Strawberry Chiffon Squares

I often use economical frozen strawberries for this recipe.

This dessert was well appreciated as the end of a weekend family brunch we hosted this weekend. It would also make a great pot-luck dish to take along, warm out of the oven.

My daughter absolutely loved the graham crumble in this recipe, as predicted. So did everyone else at the table.

You’ll love it with practically any fruit you choose to use in the bottom layer. Plain apple would also be excellent as would peach, I’m sure. Must keep that idea in mind for when the Niagara area peaches are in season this summer.
